Well, Tom was promoting his new book "I Am Charlotte Simmons" in 2005 and stopped by to talk about the book. So we paired him with Rhett Miller to act as host and interviewer. The two talk about the newly release book, colleg life, music and Wolfe himself.
We met up Primus bandmates backstage at Radio City Music Hall upon the release of the band's DVD "Animal's Should Not Try To Act Like People." The trio each chimed in on live concert recordings and the DVD... Sort of...
We literally trapped Stereophonics frontman, Kelly Jones, in a storage closet at the Virgin Megastore in New York City's Union Square. No shit! Stock guys were coming in to re-stock shelves with CD located in this closet during the interview. As low-budget as it sounds, Kelly just rolled with it and did the interview anyways. The interview also features performance footage from their in-store.
