My new subwoofers Posted by: svtcontour Video duration: 122 seconds Finished building my subwoofers for my home stereo. Not designed to be boomy or loud. Just to blend with the main speakers and produce the missing bass thats below 40Hz. Can play down to and below 20Hz without much drama. 18Hz test tone came through just fine. Amp is a Threhsold SA3, Preamp is a Soundcraftsmen pro-control 3, DAC is an MSB, CD is a Yamaha and network player is a Squeezebox. The speakers at the moment are the modest but amazing Usher S520.
